Model Overview:

The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.

Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

  • Wish I had my old one - 2010 Lexus RX 350

Traded my 2000 for this one. The 2010 has a very stiff truck like ride. The seats are hard and uncomfortable and there are many rattles all around. I prefer my 2010 Tundra, the ride and quiet exceed this Canadian attempt at a Lexus.

  • Had enough with noise in the cabin :( - 2013 Lexus RX 350
    By -

First, let me be clear that I have nothing against the Lexus brand, they make great cars and my family love their cars. That past experience has holded me back till now to write anything negative about Lexus but here is what has happened. I replaced my two year old 3 series bmw with a 2013 Lexus RX350. Loved the vehicle, still do BUT I started hearing this very hard to notice (for anyone not sitting on the driver seat) noise, it was coming from the left drive side seat belt column. On long trips and even shorter ones, a tiny bump or little wind will make the noise to be more constant and annoying. Long story short, I have taken the vehicle to Lexus service three times as of June 1st..

  • $45K Tin Box - 2008 Lexus RX 350

I have 1500 miles on the car. I traded a BMW for this "tin box". Do not believe Consumer Reports about how great the car is. It is very light bodied with a lot of road noise, sloppy steering. Lexus Quiet!!! This car has a lot of noise. I will be trading for a BMW or Benz in the spring. Do not be fooled. Drive a BMW or Benz before you purchase a RX350. Yes, it is just a dressed up Toyota for 10K more. The RX350 compares to a Ford or Chevy not a BMW or Benz. The only saving grace is the dealer service and the fuel economy is great. I did have two small problems that have been corrected.

  • Poor fuel economy and disappointed in first Lexus. - 2016 Lexus RX 350

The Rx is advertised as 20 mpg city and 28 hwy. I have been getting 13-15 mpg city and 21-24 on hwy. I took it to Lexus for review and they also could not accomplish 28mpg hwy while they were driving 62mpg with cruise activated on highway. I cant imagine driving 62 mpg on highway. They were able to accomplish 20 in city by just barely pressing gas in city.. Not sitting idle.. There is a loud noise coming from engine area when AC fan is turned on. The navigation option is difficult and I would rather use my iPhone.

  • Disappointing - 2011 Lexus RX 350

I had high hopes for this vehicle but sadly it didnt deliver. Its built like a toy. Never again.

  • First and probably last - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

I bought this car fully loaded. I would not consider the stereo system to be premium. I feel the car leans too much on turns. On a highway, you can feel every bump in the road and I feel the ride is jittery and tosses you from left to right as you travel. Too much engine noise when car downshifts. Not expected in a luxury car.

  • LOUD engine acceleration noise - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

This 2010 RX350 is my third RX and will probably be my last. The first 2 (2004 RX330 and 2007 RX350) were whisper quiet when accelerating. The 2010 roars like my 2007 just before the tranny died.

  • Liked my old RX 350 Better - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

I agree with people here who say to stick with prior model of RX. We miss our comfortable seat - this one has much harder seat. My back hurts after sitting in this seat - in my previous RX I was fine. We miss arm rests, the sun glass holder, the lights by home link and the entire car to be frank. The auto lights include the brights and for us the brights go off when we need them on and the solution is to turn off auto lights totally. If you have the older RX and are considering this as an upgrade keep the old one! Lexus needs to rethink this RX and add back in what they removed. Leather quality and wood in older models was much better than the 2010.

  • Flying ole lady - 2016 Lexus RX 350

Like the RX but the transmission is so rough, I cant believe it is a Lexus. Like regular gas instead of high-test.comfortable in both front and back seats. Disappointed in low gas mileage. Had by 2011 RX hybrid and I liked it better.

  • Yawn, Yawn - 2008 Lexus RX 350
    By -

For the past 9 years I have had an ML320 and was persuaded to trade it on a new Lexus. So I get the RX 350 and all I can say about it is that the fit and finish are great. For the rated horsepower it seems to underperform. I was used to a car that was much heavier with a lower horsepower rating that outperformed this dog. All I can say about the handling is that it reminds me of an old man car like the old Buick LaSabre. Very boring and no feel of the road. If you own an M Class hold on to it and treasure it.
